Client Board and Advisory Board

Syntrus Achmea very much values the say of its clients. Not only in day-to-day, individual contact with administrators, but also in areas that go beyond the fund. To that end, we have set up two platforms: the Client Board and the Advisory Board.

Client Board
The Client Board comprises representatives from all funds that are clients of Syntrus Achmea. Each fund has two seats. The Client Board convenes at least twice a year. The main goal of the board is to jointly think about important themes in the pension world and the consequences for real estate investments, asset management and pension management. In addition, the Client Board serves as a platform to verify changes to the service provision and new innovations of Syntrus Achmea. From their midst, the members of the Client Board elect an Advisory Board.

Real Estate Client Board
Syntrus Achmea Property has its own Client Board. The eight to ten members of this board supervise the Syntrus Achmea Real Estate policy and monitor the independent position of the business unit within Syntrus Achmea. Decisions about, for instance, new products, organisational changes or board appointments within Real Estate are submitted to the Real Estate Client Board for advice. The board meets at least every quarter.

Advisory Board
The Advisory Board meets at least four times a year, discussing subjects that extend beyond the fund. The Advisory Board advises the board of Syntrus Achmea on request or otherwise, and discusses the recommendations at the meeting of the general Client Board. The Advisory Board is a reflection of the Client Board, has twenty members and an independent chairman. The Advisory Board is represented in the Client Board with one member.
