CSR

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is embedded in the mission of Syntrus Achmea: an affordable and sustainable pension system. We have also enshrined CSR in our work and business, and we contribute to a liveable world through various projects.

Our work
Syntrus Achmea wants all elements of the core processes to be 'CSR-proof'. This for instance means that we invest in a socially responsible manner, that we invest in sustainable real estate, and that we give our clients a say in our policy through the Client Board and Advisory Board. Syntrus Achmea has signed various codes for socially responsible conduct. Compliance with these codes is monitored by our compliance officer.

Our company
As an employer we invest in working new-style and in an age-aware staff policy, among other things. As an office organisation we are very responsible in procuring our materials and services, and we are steadily and permanently reducing our consumption of energy, paper and water.

Our world
Each year, Syntrus Achmea donates some of its profits to the Eureko Achmea Foundation, an independent foundation that supports dozens of charities every year. We also support various social projects at home and abroad.

Corporate sustainability report
Each year, Achmea accounts for its corporate performances in a corporate sustainability report. Syntrus Achmea is included in the Achmea corporate sustainability report.
