Embedded in operational management
Compliance and risk management are solidly embedded in Syntrus Achmea’s operational management. The Compliance and Risk management units permanently monitor to ensure our service provision complies with all demands. We are moreover SAS 70-certified (type II), and have our operational management audited annually by an independent accountant.  

Full transparency thanks to quarterly reports
It is very important that fund administrators maintain a clear view of all risks. For that reason we are entirely transparent about our work method and performance:

  • Aside from reports about our service provision, we provide management reports about risk control in our operational management and the financial risks to which our clients are exposed.
  • To make timely adjustments possible, we do not report once a year but every quarter-year. These reports meet the SAS 70-certification criteria.

Advice to fund administrators
In addition to regular reports, we also assist support administrators with strategic advice concerning risk management. Part of our services is a risk assessment indicating whether the administration has a good view of all financial and other risks. Our advisers can then help implement the right control measures and arrange effective monitors, so that administrators can keep all risks under control.
